Lluka receives a delegation of the Heritage Foundation

Prishtina, 16.07.2018 – The Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, received today a delegation of the Heritage Foundation, led by the foundation’s Vice-President James Jay Carafano, with which he discussed on the country’s overall economic development.

Minister Lluka informed the Heritage Foundation delegation on the Ministry of Economic Development’s priorities, focusing on strategic sectors such as energy and mining.

The Head of MED focused on projects under implementation in the energy sector, which comprise the largest foreign direct investment ever made in the country.

Among other, he revealed the measures undertaken by the Government of Kosovo to improve the foreign investment environment, noting underlining improvements of the legal and institutional framework aimed at providing facilities for investors.

Based on the experience of this foundation, Minister Lluka expressed his readiness to cooperate with the aim of improving economic policies and promoting investment opportunities in Kosovo.
